Fermentation: Performed in stainless steel deposits with continuous temperature controls (26ºC).
Aging: 4 months in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels. 6 months in a bottle with continuous controls.
Vineyard: To plant new vineyards we use grafts of our best and most antique vineyards to ensure the new strains produce high quality grapes.
Family vineyards build up character. They are located in the hills of Laguardia’s and Lapuebla de Labarca’s mountains, at an altitude between 430 and 580 meters high. On one side there is the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Continental climate and on the other a peculiar climate due to the singular location of each vineyard.
Our unique cultivating system has allowed us to develop a control system that enables us to elaborate wines of great quality and discover the potential of each of our vineyards.
Soil: Chalky clay with high mineral content.
Name of the vineyard: Hoya del Corral.
Age of the vineyard: 11 years old.
